Isn't it great when you can shop for beautiful clothes and in support of an honorable cause?? Well racegoers can be particular excited about this one. For a limited time Highpoint Shopping center is the home of a new charity concept. Over $17,000 worth of amazing clothes have been donated by the shopping centre's retailers. That means that for everything you buy, the funds will go directly towards a great cause; in this case the refurbishment of the children's ward at Sunshine Hospital.

Deutz Swap My Style is back - and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. For those not familiar with the concept, it's a way to trade in your designer wardrobe orphans and take home new treasures. And as well as being a fun way to recycle clothing there are lots of other reasons to attend this time around:

We have three double passes to give away for each city: Melbourne (September 24), Sydney (September 30) and Canberra (October 9). Detail of how to enter can be found below.
One of the MSFW (Melbourne Spring Fashion Week) retail program events worth visiting tonight is the Spring/Summer 2009/2010 collection launch of Alexi Freeman. Held at the beautiful Comme, guests will not only get to view the collection in person, but will also have the opportunity to pre-order pieces at 25% off.

Nicola Finetti took our breaths away with his Spring/Summer 2009/2010 collection; so we though that all you Sydney readers might be interested to know about the label's mid-year sale, which starts today.
We're told there will be up to 80% off on past seasons stock and one-off samples from NICOLA FINETTI, nyloNFlocks by Nicola Finetti and aXessory.
It's Earth Day on 22 April and for us fashionisers that seems like a fantastic reason to strip down to your bare-essentials. And to help us do it Spreegirl has a special offer on their eco sleepwear.

Has the economic downturn finally hit the high-end of the market? In New York, at least, it seems to be the case;
The jewelry gods have smiled upon us. For Cartier is unloading diamonds at 50 to 70 percent off. And they're not the only ones: Judith Ripka, Di Modolo, Damiani, Gucci, Maurice Lacroix, and Coach are all marking down their jewelry and watches as well. We can guarantee a mob scene, because this kind of jewelry never goes on sale. Thank you, recession!
We've already mentioned how much we love Alexi Freeman's Autumn/Winter 2009 Collection. So we were pretty excited to hear about the special private viewing of the collection taking place in Melbourne tomorrow!
The best part is that garments can be tried on and orders can be placed at 50% off the retail price, for delivery in March/April 2009.

When I heard about the Dorothy & Evelyn Two Bucks 'til Wednesday sale, my first thought was to keep the news quiet and go horde all the bargains for myself! But, it is for charity after all... So the more the merrier, and you'd best not let an opportunity like this get away.
At the sale you'll find vintage clothing and accessories - all between $2 and $20. And the best part is, all proceeds go to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation. Visit the City Guides for full details.
