John Smedley has been in the fine knitwear game since 1784. The brand’s collection for fall / winter 2013 doesn’t stray from the founder’s original goal of producing warm and luxurious garments out of Superfine Merino, Cashmere and silk – and why should it? That’s what it’s come to be known for.

On the podium at the label’s London fashion week (London Collections: Men) presentation, bright colours were the order of the day. Stripes, fair isle, and bold block hues were made for winter layering. And hey, no-one says you have to wear them all at once.
