Making the transition from womenswear (and women’s fashion editorials) to menswear, Walter Van Beirendonck’s spring 2013 collection saw Japanese-style rope binding techniques being used on the runway. And to translate to something you can wear day-to-day (let’s face it, not all men are Kinbaku bondage experts), Beirendonck also put them on t-shirts as prints.

Beirendonck’s collection showed yesterday at Paris fashion week.
