Todd Lynn's dark fantasy shoulders: LFW

We've seen all manner of bold shoulders making their way into the Spring/Summer 2010 collections; from the gently puffed, to the over-exaggerated football shoulders of Alexandre Herchcovitch; the razor sharp to the harshly squared. But Todd Lynn's take from London Fashion Week is rather more sinister.

Sass & Bide, Spring/Summer 2010: LFW

Sass & Bide have a trademark style that is always at the core of their appeal; it evolves with the brand but is not so definable that it should ever hold them back, and this is a rare thing indeed. At London Fashion Week to present their Spring/Summer 2010 collection, Sass & Bide fueled our suspicion that, in 2010, the tribal trend will move away from the voodoo-chanting fire-dancing nature woman, and towards the fierce ancient Warrior woman. Built upon a palette of black and white with gold and bronze detailing, the collection calls to mind body armour, breast plates, and in one particular outfit, chain mail.

Women's Spring / Summer 2010 catwalks

Spring 2010 will be the first season that the world's fashion designers have the opportunity to properly forge a way out of the economic downturn which has greatly affected their bottom line throughout 2009. Expect a lot of designers to aim for safety; with all the cuts you'd expect of a Spring/Summer season heavily mixed with 2010 fashion trends.

TopShop rock the sheer trend at LFW

It's not the only catwalk to feature the sheer/nude fashion trend, but they are the only one clever enough to follow it up with a very cool buyer/photographer/editors perspective website. So kudos to TopShop and their Autumn-Winter 2008/2009 'Unique' collection for some brilliant marketing, and some very hot looks.
