Personally Im not too crazy about the flapper era, but even though the silhouettes dont bring out the best in my figure I must admit they do look good in just about everyone except one body shape the pear shaped woman (narrow shoulders, wide hips)

Dropped waists sit at the widest part of a pear shape creating the illusion of even greater width, not good!

If there is a 20s/30s come back soon Im sorry for all you sweet pears out there youll have to try fashion trends from other eras that work best for your body type.

I adore 1920s fashion - in fact, the flappers in general!

I just bought a 1920s hat yesterday; it's gorgeous!

I love the fact that the revolutionary flapper caused quite a stir bearing the leg above the knee (oh my!) and now we barely bat an eyelid if someone has a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet; we giggle and move on!

Love this fashion; currently seeking out the best fringed dress - wish me luck!
