Oliver Peoples, under head designer Larry Leight, are often credited for the resurgence of the oversized-sunglasses trend. So what can we learn from pieces in their most recent collection?
Unsurprisingly, oversized-sunglasses are still in. The top pair pictured are known as the Leyla and lend themselves perfectly to the trend. Thankfully there's nothing cheap about the design and they steer well clear of the white-oversized sunglasses trend which we absolutely abhor.
Called Farrell, we're not as keen on the second pair - blue lenses were popular a few years back and it seems far too soon to see them again. That said, we're do like the shape of the lenses on these men's sunnies. There's a subtle evolution away from the complete aviator style and if it weren't for the off-colouring we'd certainly snap them up.
I am really trying to understand the second pair.. but it's not happening! I like black sunnies on a guy. big black ones!
Sunnies are a must rain, hail or shine! I love the tortoise frame with gold especially in a deep red with a scarf~ perfect for 'handing in assignment days' when the hair isn't fresh and the eyes definitely need jojoba oil!
