2008 trend: see-through and sheer fabrics

I really like floral sheer button-up shirts. I have 2 but am hoping to make my collection grow because they're good for work, but they're also good for other occassions too

What do you wear them with? I like the idea it sounds very cute!

Saw a few instances of it in Sydney over the pat two days. One was being worn, it was a black dress with sheer embroidery across the chest. And the others were for samples of Winter 2008 clothing - sheer mini-dress. Very yum.

The last two are feminine, gorgeous, and clever all in one.

ok ive done it! last night i wore a very sheer black sleveless top i had in my cupboard form a few years back.. its got a high neck, rouched all down the front, has some ribbon and looks very couture, with a very simple black satin skirt. I tried with the nude bra underneath which looked great, the rouchedness(?) of the top camoflaged it, and i had to take out my belly ring (fear of looking trashy) but all-in-all i think it worked well...

Good move with the belly ring, I think this look has to be classed right up to really work.

I usually wear my sheer floral shirts with a singlet underneath, and either black pants for work...or jeans and thongs for casual...or dressy sandals, and a nice belt if I want to glam it up.

But if you don't want a full sheer top, there are a few places where the top is not sheer but only the sleeves are. Same with some dresses like the one in the photo before
