Have to say that I hate the latest trend of double cuffing your jeans. Jeans are already a casual statement on their own, and do not need anything else to make it look more casual or in this case, sloppy. Sorry, but thats just my two cents. :x
An intresting look. sorry but i would like to admit that i dont know any of these models, although my comments would be that it dose not work entirely on every one except the lady on the far right.
For men, while denim isn't going anywhere, it certainly hasn't been turning up as often in directional runway looks or in forward street-style. Dressy-denim, skinny-denim burnout is rumbling quietly, and while I doubt we'll see any replacement to its ubiquity any time soon, on point right now are two Acne collaborations.
I like the quiet rebellion of the unapologetically traditional pleat-front trouser re-worked in denim with a tapered fit, produced in collaboration with Fantastic Man magazine. Lanvin's forthcoming collaboration with Acne, including generous straight leg and tapered wide leg trousers in lighter weight denim, was previewed in part on the SS09 runway. A cocktail of genteel dress, boyish mis-proportion, utilitarian fabric blended with some Lanvin luxe (bets on a silk/cotton mix, anyone?) and a twist of French chic.
haha i have always worn this look as i live in my white shirts. have always gotten mixed responces on it, but to mee it says efortless class and sexiness
I think Jen Aniston rocked the boyfriend look. As for Katie & the others I think you shouldn't try so hard to be hip or trendy> If you over do the look you make the mistake of looking older or silly. Where as Jen makes the look fashionable as she didn't attempt to go way past her origional jean style & seem just a bit out there- & i like that, here choise of belt was def a must for anyone attemptng the look.
I happen to be a fan of the look, ha i even have it on my fashionising info & how i like to wear a pair- check it out
But... I have to get a pair that are not too baggy please, or have a low crutch, we are women after all...
I love the two versions of Bilson's cuffed jeans. Although, so far I've only worn it the Witherspoon style, I want to try the baggier pair with the gladiators. Katie needs to find another trend to grab on cause she really can't pull this one off!
