We've heard that the 5th Avenue party on September 23 is going to be the place to be for the Melbourne social set. Anyone going to attend?

5th Avenue - a new concept in entertainment for Australia
By: Carmine Pascuzzi

5th Avenue is a concept derived from the stylish, glamorous parties held in New York. The idea is simply to educate the socialites of Melbourne by giving them an event dressed in style, elegance and class. 5th Avenue is designed to bring out the elite in party goers, a blend of educated 25-40 year olds including top designers, fashion enthusiasts, celebrities from television, sport and radio, models, industry peers, sponsors, and our exclusively invited guests.

Boasting the creme of the crop in entertainment and hospitality, 5th Avenue is certain to become a key event on the social calendars of Melbourne's most discerning party-goers. This event will truly create a new experience and re-establish what Melbourne comes to expect from its entertainment entrepreneurs.

5th Avenue parties will feature Australian & International premier live music acts, Melbourne's most sumptuous cocktails and canapes, all staged in the most exclusive venues. Plus, the guest list features the who's who of Australia's social set!

Catering is supplied by the Atlantic Group
Dress Code: High Class Cocktail Attire

I very much doubt they're going to stick to the 25-40 age range - economically they'd be cutting off a major part their market.

The outfit sounds very cool Ramona. What colour palette are you using for the outfit?

Shorts and bodice - sounds like a great twist on cocktail wear! :)

I'm told there are still a few tickets left - if anyone is interested, speak to Adam on 0418 866 688. Also check out the website for some more info on what's on.

I'll certainly be there :)

I think something standoutish is perfect for such an event, it certainly reads like the sort of place where you'd want to!
