Hey what's good? I'm doing a paper on fashion and was wondering what the consensus was on putting together a new fit. Like after finding the right clothing and shoe elements, how do you decide on what accessories you're going to add to the fit. For instance, I for one, buy the clothing first, then look around for accessories that would enhance the clothing. How do you guys shop?

Thanks in Advance for your help!

Logically I would say it's about buying accessories that go with plenty of stuff in your wardrobe and will really set off many an outfit. That said though, there's also the option of buying statement pieces - e.g. an amazing piece of jewellery, or stand-out pair of shoes - that you can make the focal point of your outfit.

I'm prone to being fairly practical (most of the time) when it comes to shoes and bags; but I buy random pieces of vintage and antique jewellery purely because I love them.

Well..for me tehre is no straight answer..Sometimes I buy clothing first and then I work around that..othertime I see a nice piece of jewlery,or a great pair of shoes more like statement pieces so then I pick outfits that complement the accessory..Hope this helps..
