Hi everyone!

This is my first post here,I hope that someone can help me:)

I bought a pair of ankle boots and I want to know how should I wear them.I'm really short and I've heard that short people shouldn't wear ankle boots because it makes they're legs look even shorter,I want to know if there is a way I could wear them without this happening?I usually wear them with skinny jeans,am I doing it wrong?

I have a few suggestions. Skinny jeans are great with ankle boots. So are a cute pair of denim shorts. Also, I like the tights, shorts, and ankle boots combo. Or you could even pair them with a nice med-length dress.

Hilary Duff is on the shorter side, but they look great on her. Hope this helps!

Nice boots. Yes, it can make the leg look shorter. Without knowing what you look like I'd suggest wearing it with a high-waisted, short-hemmed skirt. The high-waist will imply that your legs are longer, and the short hem line will compound the fact.

I REALLY LOVE ANKLE BOOTS. THEY HAVE A CERTAIN EDGE TO THEM THAT MAKES ME FEEL SO RIHANNA. YOU SHOULD USAULLY DO THEM WITH SKINNY JEANS, AND SHORT HEMMED DRESSED. THAT WAY THEY SHOULDNT CUT YOU OFF TO MUCH.

The boots look really nice. Since I find heeled boots or heels to be generally a pain to walk in most of the time, I rarely wear heeled shoes. I'm also short too.

Though I do have a pair of ankled carmel boots which look great if I wear them with black stockings along with a short black mini or black shorts or dark denim skinny jeans or a mini smock/shift dress is great in my opinion.

I would have to say that your best bet is to either wear skinny jeans or some really cute shorts. any thing that would lengthen the leg would be best with those ankle boots. i loooove a high waisted short skirt with a little flair at the bottom. that would be perfect!!!

love the stud detailing on those boots!! agreed with what most ppl said here - play with proportions...high waisted shorts or skirt to camouflage where the hips start and elongate the leg or a pair of black skinnys so you cant see where the boot cuts the leg short :) HTH
