I tend to regard all LV monograms as a fake, not because they are but because the majority are. And even when they're not, they're usually carried by the wrong sort of person.

Personally - no.

1) It's embarassing. I've spent too much time money effort and my left kidney on building up my little fashion/label whore/menswear gang to even consider a knock off. More likely than not I'll lose a lot of respect. haha

2) Say whatever you like but you CAN and I mean CAN spot a fake a mile away. If the monogram is not centered (on the bags - but some LV wallets arent) then it's a knock off. It's easy to tell especially if they have little straps or leather panels on the front of the bag which acts as a sort of axis if you will. Also a lot of the hardware is not the gold colour. Theres obviously a lot of tell tale signs that it's a fake.

3)Also if you have a full time or even part time job and consider yourself a hardcore fashionista then it won't hurt for you to save up for a couple of months and hello Damier Geant messenger. Saving up for fashion items definately helps you cut out the other crap in your life a.k.a. eating junk food out of pure boredom

4) Then again I wouldn't WANT to buy anything monogram - unless it's Goyard. I see WAY too many of my girl friends (actually even guy friends) rocking it. It's become almost a teeny bopper type thing - it's very big with the 15-25 age bracket. I like to call them the Monogramists. lol. And come to think of it I see it everywhere now - Seven on Friday nights, BLVD on Saturday, L'Contro, Starbucks, Melbourne Central under the clock, on Uni studens, high school students, Bourke st. etc. Have you noticed how they travel in packs? haha

5) I don't want to be labeled as a terrorist.

6)It's embarassing. lol
