Are skinny jeans on the way out?

Skinny jeans work a lot better with a lot more things.

I have a pair of baggy ones that I only wear around the house or going for a walk down to the park/river near my house :P They're comfy and a good cut but not as stylish as skinny.

Skinny jeans are just more flattering, in my honest opinion because rather than broadening the body like wide-cut jeans, they bring everything in and help streamline one's body-shape.

This said, however, make sure your jeans are a cut and size that suit you! Muffin tops will never be in fashion!

I think a good compromise if skinny jeans aren't for you is a good, straight, boot cut, as they lengthen and slim the body without drawing it out on a horizontal axis :P

Just my two cents :P

I think the super super skinny jean will have it's day soon..

I have always liked slim fitting jeans, so when skinnies first arrived on the scene it was a godsend. But now it's almost getting ridiculous - it's not so much about form fitting as form altering.

I love my skinny jeans. They look great and go with so much stuff.

However, some people on this forum make it sound like the skinny jeans have never gone away, but all jeans (and really all fashion) come and go. I remember a few years ago when the skinnies came back and I wasn't sure about them as I'd been wearing boot cut for so long. But the past few years I've worn them and loved them.

I have now bought a pair of wide legs and i like them too. I have to admit though I am finding it hard to find things that go with them...unlike the skinny.

If you look in my wardrobe you will fine a pair of boot cut, 1 pair very tight skinny, 1 fairly tight straight leg, 1 pair wide leg, 1 pair three-quarter, 1 demin shorts to the knee, one pair denim short-shorts. I wear all of them on different days, depending on my mood, where I'm going etc.

I love variety!!

I just tried on a pair of 4 year old jeans yesterday...

I can't believe I ever wore flares... I haven't got the hips to "balance" the lower portion so I looked ankle-heavy...

There's a cut for everyone... Skinnies and straight-leg work for me while the baggy and flare may work perfectly for someone else. It's different for everyone because of differing body shapes. Don't follow a trend that doesn't suit you.

Yeah I agree with Courtenay, you have to go with what your individual body shape permits, very true!

oh God no...skinnies are here to stay.. awfully adorable.. with everything. in same time u can look like rock star and absolutely aristocratic
boy version of wide legs only work on tiniciouso persons (like kate bosworth.. cause she has that perfect noble girl look)

Skinny jeans are an wardrobe essential for every individual searching for an item for everyday wear. Thats not to say that wide leg jeans are horrible, they offer a different sense into what the wearer is trying to portray.
