Fashion Weekly Daily think they might have a crystal ball when it comes to the future of men's fashion. After covering last week's ENK Collective they've put together a list of what they see as the forthcoming trends in men's clothing.

* Slickly styled corporate-chic inspiration from the 80's "Greed is Good" era.
* A move toward tailored clothing mixed in a casual way. The jacket is strong again, and tailored pants are replacing denim... Casting back to the Rat Pack days, men are once again dressing up to go out.
* Inspiration of '60s sharp tailoring and Technicolor glam. See films Get Carter, Escape from Alcatraz, and Harlequin.
* From head to toe, it's still all about linen. There was a tremendous trend towards shorts and woven shirts picking up over knits again.
* The color thing is calming down now; it's all very soft and neutral.
Rogue personall isn't sure about all of this, but we'll certainly wait and see.

See... I'm a fan of sleek, corporate, sharp looks... ecspecially for guys. Messy casual, vintage-overload, and surf-shop styles are way passed over.

Excellent point Allan! I'm still hesitant about anything 80's, in retrospect it was such a hideous era. Power suits are one thing, but are they going to fit properly?

If the eighties are back does that mean safety dance is cool again?

NB: I don't even know what the safety dance is but it came from around that tie picture :D

Tailored clothing and dressing up to go out sounds good :D I'm with Stiletto on the too-messy, too-vintage or too-surfer though! Keep it a bit classic and well-rounded.
