Is this a New York trend? or have I been hanging out at too many non-trendy beach clubs were more focus is on push-ups, halters, triangles, bandeaus, tankinis and cover-ups :-)

My male preference for women remains well tailored skinny jeans, babydoll cami on an fit and healthy bod.

At the end of the day - some bodies were made for leggings - and some were not!

I'm quite a fan of the leggings trend, it's quite a useful transition from hot to cold or cold to hot weather as you can wear them with skirts, shorts, dresses etc. It is, obviously, something to be approached with caution, that could go horribly wrong very easily, as has been displayed one too many times in my general vicinity over here in NZ....

I like the trend... particularly useful if you want to wear a short dress / long top but toned down and with more practicality. It can look 80s bad if done wrong though...

I think leggings can be nice under a long sweater for running to the store but they have lost their fashion forwardness...even the fashion editors who lauded them in the Spring aren't wearing them anymore.

Actually that's a perfect way to put it. I wouldn't wear them to make a striking statement, but they still have their place.

I love leggings.... but more so I am a massive fan of stockings/tights and find that through the colder months they are a godsend! Plus they look incredibly sexy, are very flattering, and leave a little more to the imagination... really they are the best of both worlds I believe!

(BUT - on the wrong person, wrong body, or teamed with the wrong outfit can also look god awful... but I dont believe any of us need to worry about that do we?!)
