Backstage at Fashion Show
I'm on my way to NYC right now and I just got word that I'll be interviewing M.A.C.'s senior makeup pro backstage at Donna Karan's show for NY fashion week...needless to say, I'm pretty excited about getting there...if there's time before my interview, I've also been invited to the Costello Tagliapietra show (sponsored by Anna Wintour herself).

Nice. I've been web trawling for decent video coverage of NY Fashion Week, their website http://www.mbfashionweek.com/newyork/fall2007/ only has runway shots. Any suggestions? Saw a great show somewhere on MSN of Armarni's latest collection, was gorgeous - I want to see more!

The Donna Karan show was awesome! I had to stand but I stood with the beauty editor and retail editor for WWD and I got to talk to the makeup artist who designed the concept for the show and I talked to Hilary Rhoda, Sasha Pivovarova and Jessica Stam.
Until then Jessica Stam was topping my list but she was a bi*ch...Sasha was super nice and so was Hilary, but Hilary was a little hairy.
