Got to be Montreal. There is so much on offer and it's so central to NYC and Europe.
Food, looks, culture... it's all there; albeit with a distinctly Quebecois twist.

Canada- went when i was 10. we went horseriding through the canadian rockies. We went to a lake, called lake louise, nicknamed 'the diamond in the wilderness'and trust me it its!! awsesome skiing around the lake too if youre into that. then there Jasper NP, which is still part of the rockies. Thats one of the only places in the world you can still go to see ice fields! you have to see it for yourself to understand! and at jasper, theres a little island called spirit island, which is incredible! best place for wildlife spotting! i saw wolves, a bear, bighorn sheep, moose ect. when i was there. I reckon its best to the trip on horseback, you see so much more than you would in a car ect. without a doubt the most amazing place ive ever seen. i'd live there if i could! but yes, quite cold!
Bavaria- best place in germany! you'll have an amazing view of the alps! its a very traditional place. you go there and its like your still in the 1900's, except the few banks, servo's ect. all the buildings, ect are still very old. the people are so laid back and welcoming. you'll see castles all over the place, its is so amazing, and you can visit the castle that walt disneys sleeping beauty was based on. there is much woodwork, pottery ect as all the people are into that. i recall houses being painted in all different colours.
althouhg its traditional, its a fun place and theres always something to do, parties, festivals all the time.
both canada and germany have the most amazing landscaped ive every seen!!!
new zeland would be a good place too ;)

I absolutely love London. I've been there twice and hopefully I'll be taking up the opportunity to study abroad there this coming year!

I love New York City and I am in love with London. It is my dream to travel around Europe especially UK (London). I also love to visit places like Paris, Dublin, Amsterdam, Rome (anywhere in Italy), Prague, Madrid, anywhere in England, Scotland, Denmark, Tokyo, and Australia. Also want to go to Canada like Monteral, Toronto, Vancouver, and etc. I want to be a jet setter.

Some personal views and recommendations around Europe...if I don't mention a place it's not because it's bad! so many lovely places
The UK
London- of course!!
Bath is immensely pretty and worth a visit as is York and Stratford. Stonehenge amuses the Americans and with a gorgeous tiny pub in Salisbury
Club/music life in Bristol/Cardiff/Manchester/Leeds/Newcastle/Birmingham.
Edinburgh a great place
Nature to be seen- The Cotswold, Brecon Beacons, Gower Peninsular, North Wales, The Lake District, The Yorkshire Moors and Dales, West Coast Scotland
France
Paris- THE city in the world for love, fashion and life. THE CITY!
SW coast sand dunes around Arachon
South lower inner France- long shady wine filled lunches, strange topology in some places and lots of old roman remains.
South coast Cote D'Azure-love it to pieces, from amazing Monaco to St Tropez. Recommend old part of Nice, inland at St Paul de Vence and the jewel in the crown, St Tropez which may surprise people that don't know it. It is a tiny beautifully unspoilt little town. Walk up behind the town onto the mound and just admire the view
Annecy is pretty and the whole Haute Savoie mountains are spectacular in summer or winter. Courchevel is the place to go with money in the winter and has amazing restaurants off the pistes
Germany
Berlin for life
The Black Forest for cookoo clocks
The Mosel valley Traben-Trabach for wine and touring
Belgium
Brussels and Brugge (chocolate- lots of it!)
Norway
Oslo in the summer is beautiful and relaxing. Go up to the Holmenkollen . Tromso is like out of this world.
Iceland
Sunning scenery and prices
Ireland
Dublin is a must for endless fun
The west coast is magnificent
Swizterland
Picture post card perfect- Interlarken in summer. Villars in winter
Spain
Barcelona is THE place, eat and walk down the Ramblas and be prepared not to sleep. Madrid is a little boring, Girona good. Pyrenees good
Spanish islands good away from the crowds Ibiza actually is very pretty away from the clubs
Czech Republic
Prague is very beautiful but being spoilt by too many tourists and too much back street sex and stag/hen parties. Eat in the old town then walk across the bridge to the castle at dusk
Austria
Saltzbuerg and Vienna but also get up into the mountains around St Johan, Hoch Solden and St Anton, dead out of season. Go mid summer or mid winter
Italy
Milan is overrated- sorry. Some small parts are very beautiful (Duomo Piazza) and the people and the buzz are great but it is so small and limited compared with Paris
Rome is hot and noisy but fascinating
Florence is pretty
Naples has rich and poor all in one place
Sorrento and Pompeii and the island of Capri and are must
Amalfi is a place to go
Venice has to be experienced
Greece
Athens like Rome is hot and noisy but interesting but go to the Greek islands. Most are stunning. The Ionia islands are my fav like Zakynthos
Hmm running out of time will try and continue next time with more of EU and the places that I have been to in the US and NZ/Aus
