I find them strangely interesting... I don't know if I'd go for a stroll in the park with them on but I'd wear them :)

I have a pair that are similar to Kate's in the first image, but the cutout is smaller...more like a keyhole.

I think the cutout helps give your rear a little shape (because my ass aint that shapely and it looks pretty banging in that pic)
