I think you'll see it fade from the lime light, but given Australia is generally so far behind the times I wouldn't worry about. Even if it were to become a faux pas tomorrow, you'd still see it on people in a few years time.
It may not be in the forefront but I think it will stick around the streets for a bit longer.
It's still a huge trend overseas but it's evolved into more of a streamlined shape. The fabrics are softer and the volume has been toned down.
You don't happen to know of a pictorial instance of the evolution of the trend, do you KiKi?

i think they look so cute! oh yeah- a current affair- they know exactly what they are talking about when it comes to fashion! I nearly bought a dress like that last black one- except i could hardly walk in it!
