i know smuggling drugs is bad... but it was weed !!! not like she was trying to bring ice or pills or smack in there- as if theres not enough of that there anyway.

its all bad no matter what she smuggled- people need to respect the laws of other countries. she knew the risk she was taking and did it anyway, then lied about it and fuelled a huge inquest here and media frenzy. michelle leslie ahd like.. 2 tablets or something. she had 4kgs. and michelle lesle did spend time in jail up untill her trial.

Although... I don't know I kinda feel sorry for the girl and believed her innocence.

I guess thats the good thing about fashion that often gets overlooked, the ability to spark / re-spark a debate about something local or global.

leslie had one or two pills on her, that were probably purchased in the country, that is possession. and her jail time was already served while in custody.

corby, on the other hand, had a four kilo stash that she was attempting to bring into the country. that is trafficing and smuggling. big difference
