I know a gorgeous overseas label that is looking for Australian stockists - but they're not sure which stores are good and which aren't. Their designs are very cutting edge, along the lines of what would be stocked at Fat, Alice Euphemia, etc.

Can anyone recommend some more boutiques in Melbourne or other Australian cities, that stock innovative brands and that you'd shop at?

hmm i don't think the designs at Fat are what i would define as "cutting edge" so this is pretty tough.
try papillon in the city at block place. it really depends on the stock itself.
