Death of the Tie?

Ok, so it's not the most reliable resource but check out this article

Where do you see ties headed?
Do you think that the growing trend for casual work wear and the Australian climate will see the tie slowly die away as work wear and be left as a fashion piece?

I see way too many cheap, poorly made and worn ties in the market, with retailers and labels jumping on the mod skinny tie bandwagon, the emo/punk band wagon. Its as if certain retailers seem to think that adding a tie, vest and hat to their displays and range will make them seem modern, different or cutting edge, and more and more consumers are lapping it up.

The title of that article is right; the tie won't die. It's no longer a requirement for many work places outside Europe, but it has become one of the ultimate men's accessories.

Hmm! Tie is undying. It is already a customary outfit which never obsolete. That is already a part of our life in wearing formal attire, tie is always there.

I love how professional men look in ties. Its just something that catches your eye describing how serious a man really is about his job. I feel that if men have the money to buy gorgoeus designer ties they should go ahead and do it, it's so worth the money. And if they dont have the money to spend there are still stores out there that sell good quality ties for lower prices that still manage to look amazing. So, men don't stop wearing ties!
