Not to put a too superficial spin on it Dress to Live sounds a bit silly, I expect people that dress to live to live in a mud hut and never wash their hair, after all who cares about appearance? On the other hand I think you can put a sartorial spin on either of these after all we're expected all to live up to a certain standard of appearance and it would be a faux pas to go to a business meeting(or anywhere for that matter) in crocs. Dressing to live isn't necessarily a great thing either, because to put in bluntly some people Live to Dress Badly.
It all comes down to style and flair some people can just wake up throw on some clothes and look stunning whilst others will toil endlessly on their appearance and at the end still look like a train wreck.
depends on what day it is and how late i am i guess. During the work week im more of a dress to live person, i put my own funky spin on everything but hey, offices arent exactly great for wearing the latest trends, especially when you have to meet clients and are in a manegerial role, so its functional + classy. On the weekends i go the other way, i love dressing up! My style is generally simple elegance, i'm not a "fashion slave" and i'm very aware of what works and what doesnt work for my body. come to thinkk of it though, i dont really spend all that much time working out an outfit at all, seem to be more of an on-the-go person, and while i have friends who spend a day finding the perfect saturday night outfit, and $700 later still look, as Allan put it, like a train wreck.
