With barbers disappearing fast, every hair dressing salon can offer you a stylist these days. And while they're ten a penny, finding a good one is damn near impossible.
So do you have a hair stylist that you return to religiously? Or are you an 'anyone goes' kind of person?

I used to, but she quit... I guess my hair was too much hehe. But I have been stylistless for about 2 months now, I cant find anyone to replace her =/

i went to this one lady for a while I was at school and she was ok but she was one of those cheap hairdressers that didnt do that well so I switched. I started going to this really cool barber in Oakleigh the woggy area of Melbourne and they did a good job their styles were not bad. But the owner was this old guy and what happens is you come in you sit down and you wait for your turn. Well what would happen is that occasionally instead of the 2 young barbers who were good you would be stuck with the old guy. Now if your about 60 or 70 yeh he is awesome but not when your young he made me look like something out of the 50s 60s. So I was looking around and kind of found a barber who is good but I wouldnt mind finding some one who actually has good style.

I had been going to the same stylist for the last 6 years but she moved and it was just too annoying to get there.
So went back to her old salon and now am infatuated with new male stylist who really really does my hair soooo well. He doesn't straighten the hell out of it, unnaturally I might add :/ and he cuts it so it plays to its strengths i.e natural waves, tendency to be unruly so it looks stylishly messy instead of badbadbadhairday type messy.

Time to answer my own topic;
I go (religiously) to Masci at Chadstone and always get my locks tended to by Mark. I've been through a thousand-and-one hairdressers and he was the first I ever encountered that cut it at the length I wanted. All those before him would give me something about an inch shorter than what I asked for, which annoyed me no end!!

I do have a hair stylist who also happens to be my best friend ! She used to work for "TEO" which is a premium brand in Athens. She was in head of the artistic team for 4 yrs. Now she owns a store which is fantasic! She makes me happy every time she touches my hair!

I'm bad! I have a regular hair stylist and a regular barber both of whom I've been seeing for who knows how many years. I feel like I'm having an affair and cheating on one of them when I go to the other. Sometimes I just miss the whole barbershop experience: the chatting, the shave, the camaraderie akin to that shown in the Ice Cube movie(s). However sometimes you just NEED to go to a hairstylist for that flair, style and creativity. *sigh* I'll just have to keep two :)

I go to Salon Couture where the lovely Elizabeth cuts my hair. I've been with her for abou 2 years now and in all the places I've had my hair cut I've never had someone do it so well.
