I was asked recently whether I'm a fan of Country Road - I can't say I've been in much lately, though I have noticed gorgeous riding / equestrian-style boots in their windows from time to time.

Just wondering other peoples thoughts - have you shopped there lately?

I've been in a few times in the last year or so because of all the raves and because they have really really done well in updating their designs to suit the market with the most disposable cash atm.

I love their new colour palette, but when I walk in, the prices are too pricey for CR and nothing really stands out enough to me that I'd buy it, either full price or on sale. I think sales are the best time to get pieces but apparently it's hectic hectic and I'm not such a fan that I'd battle the crowds. Expensive basics says me.

The only country road thing I ever liked were the bags, I see they have some new ones in stock, but I dont think they could ever beat my old one, which I unfortunetly lost =./

i loved country road last season, just took a look at the website and it seems to be slipping a bit back into generic stuff with a higher price tag :/ love some of their dresses tho..
