I find my most unique and eye-catching accessories on eBay. Seriously cute one-of-a-kind stuff; especially if you buy from someone who just posts one thing once in awhile. People with stores are more likely to mass-produce, ya know?
net-a-porter.com although it is international and I have to do something about taxes and invoicing and I am not really understanding it and starting to panic abit... does anyone know anything about this, or has brought from there to be deliverd in australia before???
Hi Corrine, all online purchases(except for tobacco products and alcoholic beverages) may be imported duty and tax free if their value is A$1,000 or less. Imported goods with a value of more than A$1000 will attract expensive duties and taxes. So, if your item is under A$1000 it will simply pass through customs and be delivered to your door without any extra taxes or duties being applied. Hope this helps.
Fantastic! Thankyou so much for that, I have gotten it all sorted and can now just sit back and relax whilst looking forward to my gift box arriving with my brand new Chloe dress inside! Yay! :-D
i sometimes use ebay- but not really because I have had the experience of sending US$200 dollars for an authentic item from a reputable seller, only to have it never turn up and get negative feedback for complaining about it! I have used M and M direct from the UK for a pair of shoes for the boyfriend which was great! And amazon for books. My bf has bought some big items though, like a white leather bike jacket (and he had the tax issue as it was over $1000)and never really had a problem.
i know its a little off topic, but if you are onto absolutely beautiful sheets and towels, try vilainboutique.com oohh sexy sheets gets me all excited!!
