yes and no.
i have labels i prefer and look at first when im looking to shop (dolce and gabbana because its funky and crazy and sexy and sometimes a little wild, hugo boss- simple, classy, classic cuts)- but just becuase something is a specific label doesnt mean i would buy it- it still has to look good! On the other hand- there are some labels i will never buy again (ie - gucci shoes are a nightmare, LV is a no-no- over done, and im never going to own anything miu miu).
If I get good service and / or good quality then yes - I can become quite loyal. And like Ruru said, it doesn't mean you buy something purely because of the brand, but rather that you give that brand preference if it's something you like, need or want.
oh! can we add bulgari to the list for places i am loyal to- impeccable service! have had dealings with them here (brisbane and sydney) and in taiwan (and vancouver), great communication, always on the ball, happy to help with anything! and i have bought jewelery, belts, wallets, etc and the service (even for exchanges and tricky requests- ie a ring that has to be sepcifically made due to the fact that it is sold out worldwide) is always great!
I find that I'm more loyal to accessories and shoe labels rather than clothing labels. I love all of my Prada glasses and I'm a sucker for Pura Lopez Heels. But when it comes to clothing I think it's more important to dress for your shape and to tie new pieces to your existing pieces in your wardrobe. I like to go to boutiques that have a large selection of labels because I prefer the 'look' over any label. I also go out of my way to buy Australian or UK made clothes
