Dress Like Lily Allen - The Easy Way

Want to dress like British two-tone princess Lily Allen? You might not be the only one who wants her sense of style. New Look are counting on it.

In collaboration with New Look, Lilly will be behind a capsule collection called 'Lily Loves'.

The capsule will include 6 dresses and and is also expected to include footwear (no doubt trainers) and jewellery.

It'll be released in May.

It was back in February that we first let you know about the Lily Allen capsule for New Look, and after much waiting the first photos of the 'Lily Loves' capsule have finally hit the net. We're pleased to say that, for the most part, there are some great pieces in the range most keeping with the 2007 Spring / Summer ruffles trend and the mini-dress trend.

The range hits New Look stores in the United Kingdom on May 9 - though we're wondering if anyone will have any money left after the Kate Moss range hits TopShop.

There's nothing so amazing I'd be rushing out to buy it... but there's nothing terrible either. I like the yellow ruffle dress for something different.

On a lightning visit to London yesterday, I picked up the Sunday Times Syle mag and Lily is on the cover. Yes she did get front row at Paris Fashion week much to the disgust of some ppl who would kill to get the seat lol. Personally I thought she looked great and a breath of fresh air. (The unedited version of her song Alfie is a classic for anyone with a younger brother)

A lovely quote from the interview with her about the range.."If it all goes tits up, it's not the end of the world" :)

I also bought an Independent while in the UK and they ran this article about Italian designers. I dont feel I can comment:)
