After several seasons of black and grey dominating the runways and the streets, it's no wonder some have rebelled by wearing bold, bright colours. Bright blue is one colour that's been getting some air-time lately - as seen below.
Camilla Belle, Nelly Furtado and Jessica Simpson in bright blue
Electric blues work well with bronzed skin and sleek accessories; whatever you do don't take Jessica's lead and carry a purse that looks like a 5 year old's pencil case.
Smock dress and ruched tunic from Topshop; Carl blue tucked dress available at frockshop.com.au.
Are you a fan of bright blue? I don't think it's for everyone, but some can pull it off really well. You can also Vote on the trend here.
I have a teeshirt from a couple of seasons back in electric blue, looks smashing with dark hair and a dirty tan. This trend means I can break out my almost electric blue Camilla & Marc dress again...wheeee :) gets my vote
Yes to blue - chunky turquoise jewels with a white frock come to mind for summer. (Cosmo cocktail to match) Winter, I will be adding to my grey from last season to freshen things up and also bright blue with our you know black whatever.... It will give our black on black on black from last winter (I call it the funeral look) a very needed shot of colour.
