Penny, a friend of mine, was given a rhinestone-trimmed riding crop. It delivered much hilarity for all the group when that particular present was opened! And I have to admit absolutely everyone wanted to get their hands on it. This was bling at its most entertaining.
I've been searching for a copy of it to show you, but unfortunately that particular one has eluded me. However it seems that if you google "bling riding crop" there are no shortage of a certain type of shop that will provide whatever your heart desires in this particular department.
haha... I like the riding crop, I wonder if it'll ever get used *hehe*...
'Is there a time when bling looks good?'
I'm not sure.I'm not really a bling girl myself but my friend (asian in picture) is and it certainly suits her- I think cute, little asian girls can get away with alot of things others shouldn't. I like simplicity and bling isn't really a part of that. It's okay in small doses... but it tends to annoy me in large doeses. Maybe that's why I'm not an avid fan of chirstmas- the shiny lights, the tree and the fact that it all has to go in storage for another year.
I do like present though (receiving and giving them).
