So this is what i read, (i love lingerie so i read about it a lot): In Europe the women there are much more into luxury/expensive lingerie then here (that's why Agent Provocateur is the biggest retailer there), in the US there's the high-end lingerie boutiques like FaireFrouFrou.com, the sexy lingerie boutiques that are more moderately priced like NotJustYet.com, and more modest tee & panty-like lingerie retailers like Bare Necessities. And from what I've read, Bare Necesatties is probably the biggest since they are the most mainstream, then like NotJustYet.com type sites, then the high-end retailers.
Sure...some fancy lingerie spice it up, but if there are actually women that can't perform at all in their absence...I would feel really sorry for them actually!!
Women not being able to perform sexually or feel confident in a party if they don't have their D&G clutch all falls into their insecurities. Although i do believe lingerie is more for self than your partner (since like Santino said it's coming off), having designer attire should NOT make or break a woman no matter how great the lace looks on a La Perla bra and panty set.
