I have kind of medium sized blue eyes. You can look at my pictures if you feel necessary. I guess I am just looking to switch things up. I want some fierce edgy colors that still are laid back enough to wear for casual occasions, but nothing too crazy.

Anyone have any tips or advice on eyeliner brand/color, shadow brand/color, mascara application tips, application tips in general?! It's all about they eyes for me, I have everything else under control.

But anyways, I came to the people I knew I could trust.
Help!

One eyemakeup style I'm loving right now are the bold bright colours like @ Gucci (SS09):

Acquas, golds, silvers - something that has a bit of a shimmer but with the Gucci look there's enough of a dark liner to still make it a complete look. It's bold but not too crazy.

So far I've always found MAC to make great cosmetics and always with a big range of colours and styles. They tend to go on really well, and last.

i use lancome eyeliner- both their liquid and pencil is great. the black pencil is a nice dar color that goes on really well. I use 3 mascaras- lancome hypnose, diorshow (it smells like rosewater!- btu be warned, it dries out quickly and can then look clumpy) and i have a clinique one but im not sure what it is!

always put your eyeliner and mascara on after eyeshadow, and put some translucent powder under your eyes to stop your pencil eyeliner smudging too much..

I think gold is a must have eye shadow colour. It can be quite vibrant and looks good teamed with other colours.
I love the colour in the pic above, I use that same shade in a Rimmel eyeliner. I find that coloured eyeliners are an easy, subtle way to mix up my eye makeup, and it's a gradual thing you can slowly add to get it right.

Ruru: I use diorshow mascara too and I've never encountered that problem :/

Do you "pump" the brush into the tube? Because that apparently dries out the mascara quicker by pumping air into the tube.

Ohmanitslisa: try bronzes and browns too; they enhance the blue colour :)

like you i have blue eyes and i am young my favorit eyeshadow is shimmering sands by covergirl (its cheap too)you can highlight the inner corners of your eyes with the shiny pink and sweep the shiny gold on the crease of your eyelids over a darker brown it really makes your eyes pop and its not too dramatic for a casual school day im suprised this wasnt already posted but you should try an eyelash curler too use it before putting on mascara so it wont stick to your lashes and pull them out! good luck.

Another great idea is to invest in colored eye liner! I prefer creme liner, its easier to work with, but any type will do. Urban Decay has amazing liners, the 24/7 glide-on pencils, that come in fabulous and shimmery colors. Even HIP by L'Oreal has great creme colored liners for just ten dollars.

On those days when you're in a hurry, just use a highlight on your brow bone, line your upper lid and lash line with the colored liner, mascara, etc...and you've got a great, colored look that was easy to achieve. Have fun!
