Hi here's James and I've been reading (not so much writing) on this forum for over a year now - only now I found this thread for bloggers to introduce themselves! Better late than never, though :-)
My blog is called http://www.eDesignerKidsClothes.com and - as the domain suggests - it's about designer kids clothes. My blog is over a year old now and the reader base has quite grown - even to some big websites from the kids fashion industry.
On my blog I write freely about what I find out in regard to the kids designer fashion industry and I make up outfit suggestions that would be trendy at the moment. It's a fashion niche that I stumbled into as part of a website seminar and while I could have stopped anytime, it's a fun topic to do research about and write about. Also, the competition for kids fashion is (actually WAS) quite smaller than the competition for adult fashion. Over the last year the kids fashion industry has been booming so much, I don't even know if you can still call it a niche in 2012 and going forward. (Probably a new niche would be the baby designer clothes.)
