Okay, so i recently bought a black thigh length leather skirt but I have no idea what to wear with it. Because it's black and a little short I want to be careful what I pair with it as I don't want it to look slutty or just plain tacky.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what to wear with it? I'd hate for it to sit in the back of my wardrobe never being worn (as it is currently doing).

What about a simple contrast with a white shirt and a pair of killer heels. Not overly exciting, but would play down any slutty/tacky factor and give it a work out.

I'd try for a super-elegant blouse - like a floaty bow-blouse, or something a bit 1940s-inspired, and maybe with high-heeled ankle boots. You've got half rock-chic, half-elegant and it can balance really well.

basics go well too.. such as a good quality cotton tee or singlet and a big statement necklace... ruffle silk blouses could also be a go x.

I agree with the white blouse and a tee shirt suggestions. A fitted sweater would work well too, as long as it's a modestly cut one to compensate for the revealing skirt

the ruffles on this shirt would go fab with your skirt. maybe some ankle high white heels, ruffle shirt and great trench. and a good belt :D
