anyone here have weird/funny fashion confessions?

ok here goes

i love sale items and often will reward myself for spending wisely by purchasing something as a reward.. contradicting the whole saving money idea

i spend ages looking at my wardrobe (admittedly sometimes in admiration/pride) especially if everything is perfectly aligned and all the things are in colour order or seasonal order

i shop a fair bit with my sister and we have very similar taste, so often when we're leaving to go out or whatever we'll find that our outfits are either coordinated or almost exactly the same ie lacoste sneakers, nudie jeans, cable knit sweater, tiffany co pendant. we'll then look at each other in exasperation.
people often ask if we're twins. -no we're not!!

i have a habit of mentally calculating the cost of my entire outfit usually when i'm wearing either very cheap clothes or very expensive. one way or another i'll end up inwardly pleased with myself

my parents hate anything wasted. if i dont want some clothes anymore i have to sneak out of the house to donate them to the salvos, feeling extremely guilty

i cant bear to throw out packaging especially for designer items so i keep all the shopping bags, boxes etc and stack them neatly at the top or bottom of my wardrobe and make sure that they're all visible.
i then realize how much wardrobe space they occupy

if im shopping and see an item that i dont particularly like, then see the price tag (expensive), i'll suddenly 'realize' its actually 'quite nice'

i buy A LOT of fragrances because of the freebies, especially for the free ralph lauren duffle bags. i hate most ralph lauren perfume, however.

sometimes i'll buy clothes and barely ever wear them for fear they'll get ruined. this goes especially for any white clothes

the entire staff team at hermes scares me and if i can muster the courage to enter, i'll quickly have a look around pretend nothing interests me and promptly leave. hahahaha

oh yeah i just remembered
i was walking in the city the other day and passed by a woman carrying a birkin, of the 35cm dark brown togo leather variety. i stood there gaping at her for several seconds before catching her death stare.

i do a lot of those too, esp staring at the wardrobe, ive always considered colour co-ordinating it..would look very pretty.. and if i see someone wearing something i want, ill run up to them and ask wheres it from, they usually give me a weird look, which you can kind of understand.

youve basically listed all of mine thinking about it! nice one :)

I was a bit hesitant to post my confessions since they make me look like my IQ had dropped and I had fears of getting beaten up the next time I walk down a dark, unlit shopping aisle but here they are.

I never trust men who wears pink however I would always trust a lady in pink.

I believe if everyone is wearing it then it's no longer "in."

Anyone who wears sunglass in dark places has something to hide.

Just because someone has a lot of clothes in the wardrobe, it doesn't mean they have something to wear.

I would charm my way to store assistants to get discounts or free bonuses however I would never ever ask for any directly.

Sometimes the label is just the best part of a clothing.

If a person wears the same thing everyday... I keep thinking they must watch too many cartoons.

And last but not least... I have polyester items in my wardrobe and I'M NOT AFRAID TO USE THEM!

My boyfriend and I both do this:

Every so often, usually when I'm bored and especially when I should be doing something else, I try on every single thing in my closet (I have three) to see what still fits, what doesn't look good, and to think of new outfits.

I think this is actually a good thing. It helps me weed out my closet, but I can see how people might think it a vain and phenomenal waste of time : )
