Fashion magazines are an old format now. Those magazines that have continued publishing 'news' aren't as widely read, now that the Internet beats them to the punch. Others have turned into coffee table book worthy publications, full of amazing pictures.

But what of the future?

As people passionate about fashion in some many formats, I'd love to hear people's thoughts on where the future of fashion magazines lie. What will they look like in a few years? What will they look like in 50 years? What will be in them?

I love the idea of the digital paper that's been floating around for ages;



I think something along the lines of a more powerful Kindle(you know the amazon eBook Reader thing) would go a long way int he right direction of bringing you the right kind of content.

Imagine being able to flick through a whole set of collections in one magazine or being able to zoom right in on a detail in editorial, maybe even having the ability to buy a piece that you particularly like.

I agree with Allan, that would be exciting. Anything 3D, interactive or holographic.
