What are your favourite drinks, particularly for parties? i.e. If you were hosting a party, what would be the coolest cocktail recipes?

even parts Grand Marnier and Godiva Liquer topped off with Cranberry juice

I try to hold cocktail parties every 6 months or so at my house to hone all my skills so I have a random list! =) Because I'm a girl, I like girly cocktails i.e. there'll be no strong liqors in my stash thus please no contempt from the men about my girly recipes! =P Some original, some stolen, some can't remember =P

* butterscotsch schnapps, vodka, mixed into blended frozen raspberries/strawberries
* malibu, vodka, peach schnapps mixed into blended frozen pineappies and blended lychees with mint
* creme de menthe, baileys, vodka, icecream, blended with lindt chocolate flakes
* a play on toblerone - honeyed glass, baileys, milk, vodka, chocolate, icecream mixed with lots of ice and blended frozen strawberries
* peach schnapps, peach and mango nectar, angostura bitters, fresh lemonade

V. basic, but tasty =)

I have more written down but those are the favourites that come to mind =P

aww Amethyst they sound sooo yummmy!!! myfavorites wud be the classic cosmo, Caprioska which is mint,vodka,crushed ice, brown sugar and topped with sprite eyah its the best!!

Champagne cocktails are brilliant for parties.... A nice champagne (Ricadonna Aste is nice) --nothing cheap as you could wind up with a nasty headache-- then you add half/full shot of one of these:
*Peach schnapps or
*Strawberry liqeur
*Chambord

Champas n peach is my favourite....hhhmm i feel like one now :)
