As an up and coming stylist living unfashionable city. How can I take the next step into the industry, also I'm young so how do I get through those Fashion doors.

Network, network, network! You have to start by simply talking to people! Slide your styling skills into a conversation with potential clients matter-of-factly(which should be everybody)! That's how I got to design a cocktail dress for my beautician. The key is to be confident. No one's going to hire someone who isn't sure or doesn't believe in their own craft. Good luck, you will have your first client sooner than you think!

I'm not a stylists but networking is just want you need to do. I once had my girlfriend who is a stylist design a dress for my graduation. She was calm and had so many ideas it caught my attention, so go get that attention!
