How long did it take you to get over the best friend?

im the same as ruru.... funnily enough i forgave them both eventually and became mates with the guy... and he then hooked up with my next gf. grrrs

It took me about 2 weeks, I was devistated at first and I thought i couldn't move on after we broke up, I cried and cried and cried, I couldnt eat or sleep, then i just got over it surprisingly quickly

lol.. the best friend was not trusted for a very very long time. we are all still friends thought because it was highschool, but it was quite a few months i think?

hmm technically i could say that i have never loved.... so im home free on that one lol

It took me awhile... maybe about a year, although there are lasting effects. By that I mean things that I am more cautious about or learned but am constantly reminded that I don't want in a future significant other! :)

i'm still in love with my crush at primary school! we rode our bikes together, played fathers & mothers together, shared lunch, played hide&seek & he gave me my first diamond ring made out of sticks and leaves! :) his name, i forget but memories of him are quite vivid in my mind! ;) my mum would know his name actually!
