OH GOD IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO GET OVER HIM HE WAS MY FIRST IN EVERYTHING. KIND OF HATED HIM FOR A WHILE BUT EVENTUALLY I GOT OVER IT STILL HAVE LOVE FOR HIM BUT NO LONGER IN LOVE. CAME TO REALIZE THAT IF THINGS ARE MEANT THEY WOULD BE.RATHER LET IT GO THE KILL MYSELF PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER.
They say it takes half the time you were with the person to get over them but of course it depends on a lot of factors. How long you were together for, what type of connection you had, what brought you together, what tore you apart, if you have any mutual friends etc...
two years....and still some pieces of my heart are still with her. But this shows us that life is hard and not only beautiful...life goes on so dont think about whats past think about the future;-)
4 years after i found out he was just playing with me...! Such a pity for a 17-year-old... :P
I thought I had gotten over my first love. But then Facebook .. too many memories came back all at once
IT might sound weird cause i'm so young but my first like love lasted 2 years..i think t's quiet shocking but it was really amazing that I had lasted 2 whole years with him. It took about a whole year for me to get over him cause we went to the same school and so many memories kept coming up.
I had my first real love for about 2 years ago and we were together for 5 weeks when my best friend told me he had cheated on me with two girls at two different party - and the worse thing is, I was there at the same party the second time he did it! I just didn't know until a week later! I see him almost every day in school so it is pretty hard to get 100% over him + he's new girlfriend keeps giving me mean eyes? Not a great feeling!
Gave up on love when I realised it was just a chemical release from the brain. It is a nice feeling though.
After breaking, it took me four months to get over my first girlfriend. I really knew we weren't meant to be but had a period of confusion. Her and I are actually best friends now. We eat chocolate icecream together and chat about bad relationships we've had while finding people. =P
