OK, when I was about 10 I thought we would have flying cars by the year 2000.

I cant believe we are still waiting...

I mean where are all the robot maids? Shouldn't we have figured out how to speak to animals by now? Shouldn't we have colonised another planet? And where are the hoverboards like on back to the future?

Im just a bit disappointed by the reality of 2007...back in the 80's the 2000s looked so cool.

Just wondering what are the best futuristic things you can dream up?

I think flying cars are a bad idea, people can hardly drive on forwards and turning imagine giving them height to play with :S

Beyond 2000 gave us all those ideas though Ren. Damn that show.

I want a Rosie, from the Jetsons!!! One that is more efficient though.. I think they're called an.... Au Pair. ;)

Yeah I'll third that. It annoys the hell out of me that the best tasting food is often the worst for you.

Once the Federal regulators can start to come to focus on the resulting volume flight plans impact, then it will happen. The present problem as manufactors can atest, is the air - traffic control system is still in near crisis mode, and this goes to explain why common flights can not presently occur.

inst that because aeroplaines are limited to landing at airports though... flying cars can go.. well.. anywhere. and still park in your driveway. traditional flight is very out dated, and in massive need of re-invention.
