Im sorry but it has to be said- Whats wrong with you people!!!!!! Lol Im not trying to be mean or upset any one but seriously, would one of you seriously go in to a mink farm or acctually be comfortable killing a Cheetah or Croc for a pair of shoes? I mean eating cows etc is some what different becasue they are bread for the eatin. BUT there is simply no excuse for the deaths of indangered species and personally It really upsets me.

This discussion has arisen many times, but I am sure we can keep discussing it forever!

Some people love fur, and will wear it forever. The fact that some throw fake blood on them only serves to strengthen their stance of refusing to conform to political correctness, I think. I can't disagree with someone who feels that their choices are being forcibly removed through political correctness, it is a really unnattractive way of changing someone's mind.

For others... well I think their position has already been made clear.

I personally think that if an animal (eg rabbit) is a pest (in many countries, as it is in Australia) - then to enjoy wearing a rabbit fur jacket is not 'evil' as it can be portrayed, but in fact is quite an ecological stance... I realise that may sound bizarre to some, but hope some people understand this perspective.

Enjoying real leather/animal products is OK, as far as I'm concerned, as long as it comes from an ecologically-sound source, why not enjoy this beautiful natural material?

My stance is that an animal shouldn't be killed for its fur only. When we kill an animal, I think that we should make the best use of it that we can and not waste. I don't see a problem with leather or fur as long as we're using the animal for another reason also - like meat, for example. No wastage. Killing purely for fashion is greedy and selfish.

Still - I hate PETA to the core. Always have, always will.
I love my animals too. But you people are f****d.

I agree with that.
I like fur as a look, i wouldn't wear it, but it looks good on women.
I'd rather have fake fur than real fur, im sure its possible to make fur that looks and feel real, i mean they make fake eggs in some places and sell them as real ones.
Unless the animal was killed originally for food, OR had already died.

So no one seems to support fur on men? (the animal kind, not self grown).
I missed out on a pair of black leather gloves lined with white rabbit fur, Im still a little sore about it even though it has been over 4 years.
I have hunters in the family and asked for some fox pelts so I could get them sewn into a collar or jacket lining but my cousin just laughed at me saying fur was for women.
Id wear it as lining, a collar, possibly even in boots, but Im not sure about a full fur coat.
