Remember when Gap clothing ran a string of portrait ads featuring edgy cultural icons dressed in Gap classics? Well Gap is at it again. Which of these new Gap iconoclastic icons, will sell you a T-shirt?


Singer John Mayer.


Funny lady Sarah Silverman.


Japanese rock stars Ami and Yumi from Puffy.

I find Mayer's most striking, though I think the ads most likely to sell me a tee would be the latter two. Mayer's is an awesome photo, but barely shows off the clothes (which is actually the new vogue for fashion advertisments)

Agree with Daniel I think, though John Mayer is also the only one I know! I like the middle photo too.
