Not necessarily a part of the sheer trend, but increasingly we're all seeing girls on the street going about their day braless.

What's your take on it? Is it a passing trend, only right with the right kind of clothing, a faux pas, something you yourself wear, and so on :)

Of course Kate will keep it popular:

i will do this on a couple of occasions:
1) item of clothing (top/dress/etc) is too tight and the bra will not actually fit (a problem for those of us with bigger boobs)
2) there is no possible way to wear a bra without it showing- ie backless tops (i know you can use the chicken fillets but they do not work on me!)
3) i couldnt find a strapless :P

i think this is easier for smaller girls, i'm lucky to have size without the sag, but for me, if the top is loose (ie no support), it can actually be painful. and im worried they will sag later on...

im not sure about the nipple factor- not a huge fan but dont often have the problem...

Uhmm.. yes, Ive seen some celeb goes out braless.. and i think that's cool! But I guess I can't apply that to myself though, maybe because i think that doesnt fit to me at all.. and that's not my fashion taste. I'll leave that to celebrities~ ^__^

i do it quite regularly, i am only small so i can get away with it. because i dont have big boobs i cant do the whole "big clevage" thing that alot of tops and dresses need to look nice so i make the most of being small by wearing things that suit my body type and not everyone can get away with wearing - mind you that is generally only during summer... winter i am living in coats jackets and scalves... cant even tell you the last time my legs saw night air! lol

I have a few outfits that require me to head out sans-bra but being a little front heavy I don't tend to go without just for a gaff on a daily basis. I have a few singlets and shirts that have the right texture to provide some support so I'd go without if I can't be bothered but the Erskineville two are pretty much always packed away.

That being said I think that we are seeing it more because society is becoming more comfortable with it and that we are starting to 'normalise' our sexuality a bit. A woman without a bra is no longer a sign of a woman who has loose morals, now all it means is the woman probably has small enough breasts to get away with not wearing one and be comfortable.

I think that I couldn't wear anything without the bra...
