Have any Australian fashionisers bought a copy of the Australian edition of Grazia magazine? It hit news stands last week. I'm interested to know people's thoughts given it's such a good publication in the UK, but I fear it will fail here.
Yes Allan I liked the cover too. Given that New Woman was given the chop to make way for it, I'm sure it will make a bit of a splash. But the weekly format? Do you think they have the population base to make that work here? I haven't had time to read it yet but have been on their website to take a peek. Ana Almeida from Harper's Bazaar is their online ed. I'm hoping for some good stuff - hope it works for them.

The weekly format can work for them. But I don't think it's going to all for the simple matter of PRICE.
$5 an issue means that you're asking your audience for a $20 investment per month. That's twice the price of 'fashionable buys' such as Vogue, and not to dissimilar to a really upper class, international mag air freighted in.
