Versace is always the best choice for this kind of dress. Cavalli too is not bad at all.

Ditto about Versace.Valentino and Alberta Ferreti never disappoint either.Let's not forget Sophia Kokosalakis who is Greek herself and cleverly does Grecian draping with a modern twist.

This is a great look and hides many a figure flaw.
-if you are petite stay away from too many pleats, otherwise the dress will overwhelm your frame
- if you are "hippy" make sure the draping around the hips is very soft and fluid, absolutely avoid bulkiness, keep the draping/pleating in the front.
another benefit of front pleats it hides "the tummy" area

Jay Godfried and Greta Constantine both did gorgeous one shouldered dresses that are very wearable.

I love dresses like these - one of the few styles that look fabulously dressy with flats.

On Project Runway a couple seasons ago, I was rooting for Rami all the way because I never want goddess-style dresses to go out of style.
