I find men are becoming more and more high maintainence about their hair! Teen boys are flat-ironing their 'emo/hipster' shags. Most popular drug store haircare lines are introducing Mens shampoos/grooming products.
The nacho hairstyle is perfect for a more mature/distinguished man who's willing to put care into it, and these days, most will do so :)

I have short sides and long top, but i certainly wouldn't call my hair hair maintainence I have a haircut like once every 2 months? but I dye my hair ALOT I've been blue, pink, orange and many more! but I'm not emo or hipster :)
