This is a post for all health issues/concerns - I've started it so that you can raise, discuss and make others aware of health issues they might otherwise be oblivious to.
To me, as a society, we place a large emphasis on our appearances...to be skinny, aesthetically pleasing to the eye and all of the above (especially surviving the female world). And so, a lot of other issues remain untold and leave us uninformed on our personal health.
I am starting the post with flossing.
How often do you floss? Do you floss? - (Rhetorical questions here) I personally floss twice a day and have never endured a filling or cavity in any of my teeth. Pretty good I think, seen as that 4 minutes a day has relieved me of a bit of drilling and excavation work on my chompa's. :D
you are so right SoHo Babi!! when I was younger, i never flossed and in primary school i needed a few seals and fillings, but then in like yr8 i started flossing everyday, and since then i've had no need for fillings ect. I still needed braces, but that was coz my teethe werent straight. on top of that, i had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out and my jaw broken!! after that my teeth were elastic banded together, my face was so swollen , i even ahd a black eye! there was brusing right down my neck and chest. i couldnt yawn fully for about 8 months, and i lost 6 kg when i couldnt eat properly. horrible experience!!
and eveyrone need to make sure they gets lots of iron so they dont become anaemic!! its no fun. i need iron injections every 3 months!, but mines a different type of anaemia- not iron deficieny, but iron is still very important!
I floss sometimes, but not nearly enough....I cant believe you have never had a filling - do you eat much sugar soho babi?? thats amazing..I have about 5!
