Yeah one in the same Allan. Harvey Dent is an attorney in Batman-lore, seemingly not yet in this film. If memory serves me correctly, he's the chap who becomes the villain Two-Face.

Yup, that is the case;

In a June 2005 interview with Premiere magazine, screenwriter David S. Goyer said that in The Dark Knight, Harvey Dent would help Batman and policeman James Gordon bring down the Joker, whose presence was hinted at the end of Batman Begins. Goyer went on to say that in the third film, the Joker would go on trial and scar Dent in the process.[2]. In October 2006, director Christopher Nolan confirmed that Harvey Dent would be introduced in the sequel.[3] In February 2007, Aaron Eckhart was confirmed to play Harvey Dent. [4] Eckhart has stated that the Two-Face persona will make an appearance in the film. [5]Goyer, however, has suggested this is not the case. [6] The first picture of Eckhart as Harvey Dent was released on 17 May 2007 in the form of a faux campaign poster with the phrase "I believe in Harvey Dent".

You can't tell much from the teasers... I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like though!

No you can't tell much, but the voice over in the first is pretty cool. Michael Caine is perfect for such dialogue.

See I never got into the comic side of Batman, but the Tim Burton films of the 80s/90s really made me a fan. The feeling he gave to them was brilliant.
