Okay, so yesterday I nearly bought a lush pair of beige boots for only $200...I have searched high and low for the exact pair of boots, Queensland, Victoria & Western Australia. Sooooo I hear you say, what stopped me from purchasing them?
Well, besides the fact that its winter & i've been hiding my toes in my enclosed footwear and haven't had the schedule to update my pedicure (trust me they're still in good condition, I am a perfectionist) and the sales assistant was a very well dressed man... I got to thinking over night & my thoughts are that I should hold off on any purchases, like so, until my end of year trip to London, Brussels & Paris where I can scope out & make some 'luxurious' purchases from the euro designers. This also ties in well with the fact that I DO NOT like having the same items as the other fashionista's, as Perth is renowned for this. And plus, these are a staple item in my wardrobe and I have waited this long so why not till the end of '07. But I still keep thinking of them...have I missed a good opportunity?
What are your thoughts?
Apart from the fact that it's a hard life...having something like this boggle my mind on a Friday.

i have stopped myself from many purchases because i am headed overseas in a month and think i could probably get more interesting stuff there, however i did buy 3 pairs of shoes the other day because i loved them so much! i guess my point is, if you love the boots, then buy them because you know you will get a lot of wear out of them..

OMG I have similar dilemma, I am going overseas to Thailand and Singapore for a few weeks, and when I see something nice here I think that I can get it there cheaper.

I think you have done the right thing - you dont want to have the same boots as everyone else! One of my friends had a beautiful top on the other day, and I said where did you get that? I really wanted it. And she said "Paris" - I was so jealous! (especially cos I knew I couldn't get it myself :)

I'd purchase them, well I'd purchase them if I were you. The best pieces are always to be found outside of Australia, but if you've had your eye on one exact pair for some time now then there isn't really point to hesitating and holding off.

I did...along with 2 other pairs! Lol...
I was just a bit skeptical because they were so cheap...but hey, if they last a season then I am happy!

I think a good pair of boots is worth investing in. I think perphaps you should consider the comfort factor as some boots are so comfortable to walk in at the $200.

I've held back in purchasing items that I really want and it kills me no end during the day and night, but I tend to look at the negative factors first and then see if the positive (usually being that the item is pretty or/and that I really love it)still outshine the negative aspects of the item.

I think you should wait to go overseas because you will be able to find many unique items that you can't find in Australia, even if it is more expensive, but it may be worth the wait.

What kind of boots is it?
